Sometimes, in order that the interior designer could learn a higher level of performance, it
should just be internally ready for this. After his experience, accumulated
over time, tends to grow into a new quality of work executed by them. The
transformation of quantity into quality works fine and such, so unpredictable
and difficult to standardize the work area with a beautiful as the art of
developing the exclusive design.
However, the project once again demonstrated that, not
afraid of the word, of paramount role (or refuses to play) a person who is
directly involved in the project from the Customer.
Our experience shows that our society is still very
traditional perception of the roles of men and women. Customers design the
project are mostly men (they are engaged in its financing), women also assigned
an honorable role of keeper and ustroitelnitsy home. Solemn
"appointment" to the role of the wife of the customer the general
manager of the project usually occurs by default;-)
So, this philosophical passage was simply necessary as a
prelude, since the project, which will be discussed below, was unusual and
distinguished not so much amount of work done (although they are quite
impressive), but contributions made by many participants in this project to its
implementation.
We were lucky, the hostess was creative and really
interested in the process of creating your own home interior man. She was keenly interested in all the details and
features of the projected design,
easy to understand as much as possible try to convey their vision. The owner of
the house is completely trusted tastes wife. Many ideas interior design and decoration were the fruit of joint
efforts by the hostess and the lead designer of our studio. For such
cooperation to create a truly adequate design, which fully expressed in the
taste preferences of the owners home,
designer, then, tandem acts more as a coordinator, transforming the ideas
of the customer, taking into account the overall style "general" line
project.
Despite the fact that the house was built on an individual
project, its layout was not quite optimal. So uncomfortable and do not meet the
needs of the owners turned the entrance area with a tiny hallway. Large area
living rooms with high ceilings and beautiful rounded bay windows were not very
suitable for easy placement of necessary furniture. The recreation area was
clearly not designed for the amount of equipment to be in her place.
However, the house was already built, and customers have no
desire to greatly change the layout of the premises. So we basically had to
correct the mistakes of architects and designers to develop a custom interior
design for each of the three floors in accordance with their purpose (the
fourth floor attic was supposed to decorate and furnish quite modest, and he
was excluded from the overall work plan).
Premises with complex geometry (circle intersecting squares
or rectangles), according to the architect looked interesting, but we were in a
difficult situation, not only in the design of furniture, but also for the
location of lamps and curtains and masking ubiquitous ventilation ducts. In
some areas these difficulties were complemented by the presence of a small
space complete absence (in the basement).
Since the project was provided absolutely no space required
for the installation of ventilation, we had to design the ceiling so that they
not only concealed ventilation, but not in contradiction with the shape of the
room, and, if possible, have served their organic complement and decoration. To this end was chosen form
of ceilings, built at the intersection of arcs. We believe that we have coped
with the task (photos ceilings).
First floor, it was decided to give the most grand and
solemn. There are mostly located facilities for the reception and rooms
designed for day care: living room, dining room, kitchen, office, library,
children's studio. The second floor is given over to the bedrooms and private rooms of the household. Also in the house
there is a large winter garden and a swimming pool. On the ground floor there
is a room for relaxing with your family (a billiard room, home theater, gym,
SPA-complex) and storeroom.
As a basic style for interior
design, it was decided to choose classical motifs. This was partly dictated
by the architecture of the mansion, originally planned as a Russian country
estate of the late 18th century (the main entrance to the stairs, the axial
symmetry of the building, the presence of bay windows), partly - taste
preferences of owners. However, the hostess was kind very versatile and does
not fit into any one style. So in home decoration appeared elements borrowed
from Art Nouveau, fantasy art panels and decorative elements, full of
symbolism. In general, as planned, to give a light interiors, light and airy.
Basically, this effect is achieved by the use of finishing
materials, furniture and equipment bright colors, elaborate multi-level
lighting and uncluttered spaces excess furniture.
Additional unifying factor in the interior of the house are the same for the hall, corridors and
stairways warm creamy shade of decorative plaster, decorative parquet from oak
and other wood species, door cherry and white stucco.

such as stylized images of plants, birds, fish and butterflies. Favorite pieces
are the circle and the oval that add to the interior decor a feeling of fullness and harmony.
The house is such that the doors of all the rooms on each
floor are located in a quite a long corridor. To diversify the space and
visually shorten it, the corridors were divided into two parts arched openings.

for aesthetic reasons, it was important to make the interior as convenient as
possible for life. Therefore, we deliberately do not overload the surface of

For finishing walls we have applied a variety of decorative
coatings based on acrylic. This and "Venetian" with pearlescent

for finishing floors and walls, we used granite, ceramic tiles and mosaics.
